Love the pasta and the ambience was good.

Not impressed. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and I wish we chose somewhere else. Service was really bad that night, took a long time to order, to get the food ans we got the basket of bread just after our food finally arrived. It was not crowded at all,so not sure what happened. Their focaccia was tasteless and the pasta was okay. The burrata and the Perroni on tap were the only highlight.

Good food and drinks. Not too crowded for Saturday lunch

The beet salad is fabulous. Margherita pizza is a classic. Bucatini had an egg on top which was a nice enhancement on an already flavorful dish.There's plenty of indoor and patio seating. They can accommodate large groups too. Service is super quick; it was probably only a 15 minute wait from ordering to serving our food.

We had dinner at this restaurant last night. Manager was very helpful in selecting the right wine. The lamb shank special was cooked perfect. Lasagna was a bit dry and probably re-heated. Price was reasonable. The restaurant has various seating areas, but after sundown most are very dark. Recommend you sit along the wall just past the entrance where there is good light. All in all a very pleasing meal.

Would of given 5 stars if they brought back their amazing avacoda toast. The selection is somewhat small but what they have is very tasteful. Beautiful atmosphere. The staff has been a lot better then the previous year. Very friendly at the moment.

Surely a place worth visiting, the food is good and fresh, the pricing is affordable and it is consistently well organized here. Great work.

Delicious food. Service was great. Pasta is made in house and truly yummy. I got spinach and broccoli soup and a short rib pasta, pappardelle Couldnt even finish all the pasta. Blood orange lemonade was nice and refreshing .

Only been once. Decent food - sampled a couple friends', all good. But nothing exceptional or exciting.Service was really good too.Subtracted the 1 star for food - room for improvement.Nonetheless, this place was nice and I will be back for more dinners and update this review.

We went to the Pizza place there. Wow! We got the Cucina Enoteca Irvine. It was really, really good.

Our department at work just got Enoteca for a co-workers birthday lunch, and really enjoyed the experience. We shared several large family style dishes and desserts and couldn't complain with any of the food, it was all excellent! The only problem was that the meal did go a bit long for a work lunch.. but that's not a normal constraint so otherwise this would be a great place to stop in for some wine and the full meal!

I love having a local restaurant where you can sit outside, enjoy a glass of wine and have freshly prepared pizzas.

Sit outside. Try the liver pate... it's supercalifragialisticexpialidocious!For drinks try corsican sunrise or stardust - super delicious.

My friends and I had our lunch here several times because we liked the menu. The servers here were just wonderful and we have great memories with them for they were entertaining us nicely. We loved the place so much, thus we took photos inside. We also enjoyed the view of our delicious wine and lunch. You can bring all your friends here. Must try!

I tried this spot in the past with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I liked the awesome vibes and delicious food and beverages. I recommend this place.

Yum! Cute place with its own kind of quirk offering indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and attentive. They also know the menu well, which is a bonus. The wine store is also pretty awesome. They have a great selection of drinks, and Malbec, my fav! We ordered the octopus (a must, highly recommend!), chop salad and a pizza. Everything was divine - beautiful presented, complimentary flavours that pop and just delicious. Would easily go back time and time again. Highly recommended :)

Nice cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Was there for a company lunch so the menu was predetermined. The Cucina burger and truffle fries were delicious

Happy hour before 6pm with food and drink specials. Also have a discounted entree of the day. Margarita pizza was good. Polenta with beef was good.

Love this place! Beautiful ambiance, great food, wonderful service, and great variety of wine and champagne selection. This is probably our 3rd visit here and never had a bad experience and everything we had has been good. You have to try their grill octopus, short rib pasta, and any of their pizzas.

The service here was spot on. Very attentive and polite but not in my face. I ordered two courses. I started with the soup of the day which was a creamy califlower concoction that was enjoyable and light. A little bit of an acquired taste but I liked it all the same. My main course was their 'new item on the menu' which was basically chicken parmesan on bread with a side of fries. If I'm being honest the main meal was just alright. What got my attention was the fries. Whatever combo of seasoning and herbs they put on it made it quite the treat. Overall I liked the place, but I would probably order something different next time.

Everytime I come here the food is delicious and the service is great. The short rib papardelle and rotating polenta board has been a staple each visit.

Excellent food. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service was very good as well. The only issue it was a bit pricey but the portions were big. The octopus was amazingly soft and the basil mint yogurt mix that comes with it was excellent. The polenta is very good but a bit simple purr salt and olive oil and a bit of parsley on top. I think it would have taken something more to elevate the taste. The wine list is very nice. Opt for a bottle than the glass. The bottle price is 1.5 times in stores which is excellent for a.store but the glass is half a bottle price in a store.

This place is fantastic! If you haven’t been I highly suggest you give them a try. I come here every time I’m in California. The food is absolutely delicious, the drinks are good, the prices are very reasonable. Service is excellent.

It's bit pricey but the food is really delicious! You would be amazed pizza and pasta can really taste different when using authentic ingredients. Overall I really love the settings and its right next to the Improv show too!

Great place to visit if you are in Irvine. I this this is one of the best places to eat in Irvine.They have a good vine selection and they know there vine. I have been here 3 times over the last years and the quality of food is fantastic.The location is a little hidden and I need to look for the place every time, but I will find it again.

Been here numerous times and I definitely have some go to dishes, the bucatini and pappardelle are my usual picks. Service is typically pretty good, but do understand they get really busy. Make reservations if you have a big party, but they are usually pretty accommodating. Sit out in the covered outdoor table if you like to people watch, you'll get a direct view of the main walkway in front of the movie theater.

Awesome spot to get food when in a hurry. The service is fast, prices are convenient, fantastic character. I highly recommend this place

Spending time with loved ones here was enjoyable. They had an interesting menu and a wonderful meal that was perfectly served by our waiter, Peter, who also accommodated us. The food that we ordered was served exactly on time, hot (not warm) food and so good. All in all, a perfect place where we can enjoy our meals while having a chit-chat with friends and loved ones.

Always love this place. The Fig & Goat Cheese Pizza, Burrata, Squash Blossoms and Meatball are amazing! Do yourself a favor and try this place out! The decor is so cool, and on a nice warm Spring day, eat out on the patio under all the succulents! Amazing.

So I been to the one in Newport and did not like it. The food was ok but I felt it was too expensive for what I was getting. Today I came here cuz my coworkers wanted to come. I was not expecting much but I thought the food and service were so much better. The food tasted fresher and well made. The service was nice and accommodating.

This is an incredible restaurant. I have yet to order something that I don't like. The stuffed blossoms are cravable and the pizza and pasta selections are great. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. Great wine selections as well. Try the mushroom pizza and add a friend egg on top. You will not be disappointed with whatever you get. Happy Hour is the best time to go, and be aware of the weekend where this place gets a little busy.

Such great food and atmosphere. The polenta and giant meatballs are so so good! The price is reasonable too. We have never had a long wait either (even during the busy hours).

I like the backyard feel of the patio. The food was bomb! Margherita pizza and short rib pasta were on point. Most places make it super salty but it was perfectly balanced. I liked being served family style even though it was just two of us. They have wine everywhere, but no samples of wine pairings? At the price tag they should at least whet our whistle with the meal. When I first walked in I didn't feel a warm welcome. I had to say hi first to the guy at the counter. But our server Alex was pleasant. Food is five star but too many off-putting effects of staff and offerings lowers it to 4.

The best Italian place in Orange County area. I felt in love with the restaurant the moment I stepped in. Very cool vibe with great ambient. I highly recommend it.

Sat at the bar with two friends for lunch. The bartender Josh was awesome and the food was great. I will definitely be going back!

I visited Cucina with some co-workers, as we had people from other locations in town. I was one of the first to arrive and was told that there was no reservation for our party, even though my supervisor had let me know he had updated it earlier, so that was a bit awkward. The family style menu wasn't really explained and caused a little confusion to which we ended up deciding everyone would order their own single dishes. The appetizers we absolutely fantastic and I'd go back for that. No one was in the mood for drinks, so I feel we may have passed up one of the restaurant's strengths. The food was somewhat ordinary after the appetizers and wasn't particularly memorable. I ordered the shrimp puttanesca; not bad, but not amazing.

Nice area. I was told the steak is the best in Orange county. This one was ok, but a lot of fat food on the edges what I don't eat. If it was better meet, it would be perfect. Pricey though.
